Summary:Zamamiphidins B (1) and C (2), two new manzamine-related alkaloids with an unprecedented fused diazahexacyclic ring system, were isolated from an Amphimedon sp. marine sponge collected in Okinawa. The structures of zamamiphidins B (1) and C (2) including the relative configurations were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data.
