Summary: | The fine structure of magnetoacoustic Gakel’–Turov oscillations in massive plates of iron borate was investigated. The mechanism of its appearance, which is associated with the defect structure of the crystal was determined. A theoretical model was constructed and the field dependence of the wave amplitude that passed through the crystal was calculated using Jones’ matrix method. The calculated curve possessing a fine structure was found similar to that observed in the experiment. |
