Although intravenous thrombolysis (IVT) represents standard-of-care treatment for acute ischemic stroke (AIS) in eligible adult patients, definitive evidence-based guidelines and randomized clinical trial data evaluating its safety and efficacy in the pediatric population remain absent from the literature.
