Summary:We conducted Passerini-type multicomponent polymerizations (P-MCPs) with various monomers and afforded a series of functional poly(carbamoyl ester)s (PCEs). We demonstrated an efficient, diverse, and facile approach through P-MCPs to produce these novel PCEs with dual-cleavable linkages of ester and disulfide groups and the aggregation-induced emission (AIE) luminogen tetraphenylethylene (TPE).
