Summary: | Perovskite-related solid solutions with the formula SrFe sub(1-x)Zr sub(x)O sub(3- delta ) have been prepared by a conventional solid state reaction. The composition 0.24 < x < 1 are lacking due to a broad miscibility gap. In the quaternary compounds small amounts of SrZrO sub(3) were detected as by-product. Phase analysis by X-ray powder diffractometry, electron microprobe investigations and super(57)Fe-Moessbauer spectroscopy as well as thermogravimetry have been used to investigate the influence of the Fe:Zr ratio on structure and thermochemical reactivity in hydrogen atmosphere of the studied solid solutions. |
