Summary:Composite thermal-barrier elements (TBEs), produced by advanced technologies including explosion welidng, pressure treatment and high-temperature treatment, are designed for the separation of media with different working temperatures in cryogenic and power systems. Figure 1(a) shows a general view of a TBE produced from bimetal with the continuous channel of complicated shape for pumping a cooling agent, and Figure 1(b) shows a variant of the TBE for a cylindrical container.
