Cyclic Stress Response of Al-Cu-Mg Alloy Matrix Composites with SiCp of Varying Sizes
The cyclic stress response behavior of the MMCs used in this study has strong dependence on the size of the reinforcement. The finer the size of the SiCp reinforcement of the Al-Cu-Mg alloy matrix composite, the higher the degree of cyclic hardening.
