Summary: | An efficient and equitable method for determination of impact fees for urban water systems is presented. A fair allocation of costs is based on n-person cooperative game theory designed to allocate costs by zones, user classes, and or demand types. The least-cost solution of each alternative is found using an intelligent search method reported elsewhere. The proposed method is demonstrated on a small water system, and the results are compared with other cost allocation methods. |
