High-resolution electron microscopy on the X-Mg12ZnY phase in a high strength Mg-Zn-Zr-Y magnesium alloy
The ternary X-Mg12ZnY phase can be described as either triagonal or hexagonal; HREM of the X phase revealed that its stacking sequence is ((1, 1)(1, 3))3. The X phase and Mg matrix have an axis-to-axis orientation relationship. (AIAA)
