Magnetocrystalline anisotropy of a novel Y(Fe,V) sub 9.66 intermetallic compound and its nitride with a disordered CaCu sub 5 -type structure
The magnetocrystalline anisotropy of the compounds with stoichiometry Y sub 3 Fe sub 27.5 V sub 1.5 (Y(Fe,V) sub 9.66 ) and Y sub 3 Fe sub 27.5 V sub 1.5 N sub x (Y(Fe,V) sub 9.66 N sub x ) with a CaCu sub 5 -type structure has been studied by magnetization measurements in the temperature range 5-30...

Summary: | The magnetocrystalline anisotropy of the compounds with stoichiometry Y sub 3 Fe sub 27.5 V sub 1.5 (Y(Fe,V) sub 9.66 ) and Y sub 3 Fe sub 27.5 V sub 1.5 N sub x (Y(Fe,V) sub 9.66 N sub x ) with a CaCu sub 5 -type structure has been studied by magnetization measurements in the temperature range 5-300 K, analyzed by the Sucksmith-Thompson method, and by torque measurements at room temperature on powder samples oriented in a rotating magnetic field. |
