Summary: | The utilization of simulation-based procedures will likely increase as the engineering community considers systems of increasing complexity. However, as engineers consider these evolutionary systems, it becomes apparent that there are critical deficiencies in the existing approaches to simulation modeling and analysis that limit both their efficacy and applicability in addressing these systems. The desire is to define a computing environment that will minimize the need for synchronization among the computing objects. The computing environment would be one that can be easily implemented on a network of personal computers. |
