Description
Summary:Numerical studies of the mutual magnetic coupling in superconducting tapes arranged in stacks with different number of tapes and at different distances between them are presented. Constant critical current density (independent on the magnetic field strength) and power law E– J characteristic are assumed. The influence of the coupling `strength' on AC susceptibility, and AC losses is investigated. Transition from `single block' at zero distance between tapes down to `single tape' behavior at larger distances is evident.
