Description
Summary:Analog front end for discrete multi tone-based VDSL is described. The transmit path consists of a digital-to-analog converter, a programmable gain amplifier and a line driver. The low-pass filter in the bidirectional path performs image rejection to avoid interference of the VDSL link into other equipment. Power dissipation of 480 mW at 3.3 V supply is achieved when all components are active and when full ASIC is powered down, dissipation is 80 mW.
