NEUTRON DIFFRACTION STUDIES OF Pb(ZrxTi1-x)O3 CERAMICS
Neutron diffraction studies of lead zirconate titanate Pb(ZrxTi1-x)O3 (PZT) powders, 0.20 less than or equal to x less than or equal to 0.54, were carried out at 10 and 297 K. The phase transition predicted by earlier Raman observations was confirmed. The importance of the A- and B-cation displaceme...

Summary: | Neutron diffraction studies of lead zirconate titanate Pb(ZrxTi1-x)O3 (PZT) powders, 0.20 less than or equal to x less than or equal to 0.54, were carried out at 10 and 297 K. The phase transition predicted by earlier Raman observations was confirmed. The importance of the A- and B-cation displacements in structural changes as a function of Zr content is discussed. 10 refs. |
