Summary:We propose a correlated study of permalloy epitaxial thin films grown on (0 0 1) MgO substrates, with the aim of the optimization of both their morphologic and structural qualities, and their soft magnetic properties. This analysis shows structural evolutions depending on the growth temperature and the layer thickness, which turn out to be clearly correlated to their magnetic properties.
