Methylated ZNF582: a therapeutic target in oral cancer

Zinc finger proteins control the transcription of downstream genes that are implicated in migration, invasion, cell death and proliferation. More mechanistic research on ZNF582 is needed to ascertain how this protein's methylation regulates the inflammatory pathway in oral cancer.
