ZIRCONIUM PHOSPHATE BINDER FOR PERICLASE REFRACTORIES

The physical and mechanical properties of periclase refractories bonded with various zirconium phosphate solutions were determined. The samples exhibited good hardening behaviour at room temperature and very good thermomechanical properties in the range 1400-1750 C. 12 refs.
