Summary:Magnetization measurements and neutron diffraction have been performed on HoPdSn single crystals with the orthorhombic ε-TiNiSi-type structure. Two successive magnetic transitions have been found at T t=2.5 K and T N=3.6 K. Neutron-diffraction experiments on a single crystal of HoPdSn have revealed that there are two kinds of magnetic reflections which can be indexed with the propagation vectors k 1=(1,0,k z) and k 2=(0.33,0,0.93) . The k z -component of k 1 changes discontinuously from k z =0.38 to 0.35 at T t=2.5 K, while for k 2 there is not such a change.
