Summary:A brief overview of phase conjugation techniques of laser beam control in CO2 and solid-state lasers in application to the task of laser propulsion of vehicles is presented. It is shown that nonlinear-optics methods of controlling the laser beam wavefront can be used as a very promising tool in solving the problem of laser power delivery to laser jet engine vehicles.
