Description
Summary:Electromagnetic wave radiation from cavity-backed apertures in a conducting plane is investigated. The Fourier transform and mode matching technique are used to obtain simultaneous equations for the modal coefficients. The simultaneous equations are solved to investigate radiation in terms of the aperture geometry. The presented formulation is suitable for analyzing radiation from a rectangular aperture antenna backed by a cavity.
