Summary: | The aim of paper was to answer to many questions risen by the casting of ceramic slips: why is recording a major different behaviour of the same composition casting slip after a few days storage in slip whirl, or how influence the weather conditions, or the working place position in the workshop? In this context, the ceramic slips rheology versus the temperature changes. the grinding finesse of starting materials, the stirring time of slip, the intensity of stirring, the content of solid substance and the "preparation history" of casting slip were investigated. Some correlation between these parameters was emphasised. The measurements were conducted by using a Rheotest 2 viscometer. |
