Description
Summary:The knowledge of the elastic properties of a material is essential for the purpose of designing constructive parts or simulating their behaviour by finite element calculations. In particular at high temperatures it is difficult to measure these elastic properties for porous materials – applied e.g. as shock absorbers – and for anisotropic composites – applied in aerospace technologies. The paper presents a method, which is capable to obtain the elastic moduli in a wide temperature range.
