Magnetization reversal in Ba-ferrite glass ceramics observed by neutron depolarization techniques

19 during magnetization reversal along the remanent and the demagnetizing branch. Except for the virgin state, the mean domain size, as measured by the magnetic correlation length, exceeds the mean particle size considerably. The maximum during the magnetization reversal attains 1
μm in comparison to 240
nm in the virgin state. This fact and the preferred orientation of the domain magnetization indicates that strong correlations are introduced between the Ba-ferrite particles during the magnetization process. |
