Summary: | A case study is presented to illustrate how outcomes-based assessment tools can be adapted and applied to develop a continuous quality improvement (CQI) process for an undergraduate mechanical engineering program. The process used to establish outcomes-based assessment is illustrated. Brief descriptions of the assessment tools are given. Selected assessment results, focused on engineering analysis and design, are included. Program improvements are described that were motivated by these results. |
