Description
Summary:The microwave dielectric properties of the R2BaMO5 (R= rare earth, M=Cu and Zn) ceramics have been investigated widely in order to clarify the relationships between the microwave dielectric properties and the crystal structure of R2BaMO5 ceramics. The variations in epsilon r are attributed to the increase in the ionic polarizabilities of the R ions. The temperature coefficient of resonant frequency of these ceramics showed a similar tendency to depend on the differences in the ionic radii of the R ions; the optimum value was - 1.6 ppm/DGC in the Dy2BaZnO5 ceramics.
