Rotordynamic characteristics of a multilobe hybrid journal bearing in turbulent lubrication
Abstract This paper presents an investigation of the rotordynamic behaviour of a four-lobe orifice compensated hybrid bearing. It aims to show that multilobe hybrid journal bearings prove to be a better alternative for high-speed turbo pump applications.
