Normalized coprime factorizations for systems in generalized state-space form

A state-space algorithm for the calculation of a normalized coprime factorization of continuous-time generalized dynamical systems is presented. It is shown that two Riccati equations have to be solved to obtain this normalized coprime factorization.< >
