Description
Summary:The tropospheric estimates, discussed in this paper, have been obtained from different GPS solutions routinely generated at the Geodetic Observatory Pecný. Although each of the GPS solutions differs in primary motivation, implementation and in basic processing features, they were all finally enhanced by a special part devoted to the estimates of the tropospheric delays. This paper presents the comparisons between all these tropospheric results. The mean standard deviations from the intercomparisons are below 5 and 6.5 mm in zenith total delays for post-processed and near real-time solutions, respectively. The mean biases are less than 1 mm though their weekly values are in some cases drifting in time during the year. The comparison with the radiosonde profiling demonstrates the absolute accuracy of the GPS near real-time results, at least on the level of the 1.2–2 mm, for precipitable water vapour values.
