Summary: | Epitaxial YBCO film was coated on (001) LaAlO3 single-crystal substrate by metalorganic deposition of metal trifluoroacetate precursors. From XRD and EDS analysis, it was observed that the film contains CuO or Cu2BaO2 segregation, but transport measurement found the segregation structure does not severely prevent the percolation of supercurrent-carrying material. The YBCO films performance is up to 2.4 MA/cm with Ic of 137 A/cm-width at 77 K and 0 T, and superconducting transition temperature Tc reaches around 91.3 K with sharp transition temperature Tc of 0.36 K. |
