Summary: | Post-acute and long-term care (PALTC) settings are an integral part of the healthcare continuum, yet little education for this setting exists outside of training programs focused on geriatrics. We developed a curriculum to help clinicians experienced in the care of hospitalized patients care for PALTC residents. The participating clinicians helped inform course content and evaluated the course. In this article, we report the topics the clinicians identified in our needs assessment, results from our pre-post knowledge assessment, and course evaluations. |
