Description
Summary:According to the doses of PCIA hydromorphone and the number of PCIA boluses provided in the supplementary table of Zhang et al.'s article [1], we found that not all of 150-mL PCIA fluid containing different-dose S-ketamine were administered to patients within 48 h postoperatively, especially for S-ketamine 1 and 2 mg/kg/48 h groups. [...]according to the description of fig. 2 in Zhang et al’ article [1], the frames A and B showed the postoperative resting and active pain scores in the control and combined S-ketamine groups. [...]in addition to the PCIA with hydromorphone, postoperative analgesic strategy of control group during the study period included the multi-level single-shot intercostal nerve block, scheduled dosing of IV ketorolac and rescue use of IV oxycodone as needed.
