Summary: | The interaction between coherent monochromatic radiation and scattering medium results in a speckle phenomenon. The purpose of this paper is to present a stochastic approach to characterizing speckle patterns, using the differential equation that formalizes Brownian motion. This stochastic approach is based on a differential method for the approximation of diffusion. This method is validated by the characterization of solutions of latex balls of various concentrations. |
