Hydrothermal synthesis and characterization of double perovskite Ba2YSbO6
A mild hydrothermal process to prepare double perovskite Ba2YSbO6 is presented. The product was characterised using XRD, TEM, XPS, ICP and IR techniques. The product had a metal composition close to double perovskite formula and a grain size range of 50-100 nm. The XRD patterns were refined by the R...

Summary: | A mild hydrothermal process to prepare double perovskite Ba2YSbO6 is presented. The product was characterised using XRD, TEM, XPS, ICP and IR techniques. The product had a metal composition close to double perovskite formula and a grain size range of 50-100 nm. The XRD patterns were refined by the Rietveld method using the General Structure Analysis System (GSAS) refinement program. The product crystallised in the cubic space group Fm3m (no. 225), with a = 8.4117(24) Angstrom. 22 refs. |
