Summary: | A relatively simple analytical hysteresis model is constructed based on transformations of the anhysteretic or normal magnetization curve. Lag and branching are realized by variable function transformations governed by the position of the last turning point in the hysteresis space. The result is a model with local memory; however, it exhibits accommodation and non-congruent minor loops. The model parameters can be identified by mapping the reversal curves up to the second order. For soft magnetic materials analytical approximations of the required functions can be found. |
