Summary:Khorunov and Maksimova assert that the production of amorphous brazing alloys represents a significant success of material scientists, and has affected the development of many branches of industry. The inclusion of the technology of production of amorphous alloys is one of the indicators of the technical level of the country as a whole. Amorphous brazing alloys resulted in a revolution in brazing, because it is now possible to manufacture unique structures, especially in aerospace technology, atomic power engineering, and in the production of hard-alloy tools.
