NMR at the frontier of pulsed high field magnets

The first 1H, 2D, 63Cu NMR experiments in pulsed high field magnets are reported. The resonances were observed near the field maximum. Examples at field strengths up to 46 T are shown. The experimental set-up and strategies for calibrating the magnets will be discussed. The obtainable signal-to-nois...

Description
Summary:The first 1H, 2D, 63Cu NMR experiments in pulsed high field magnets are reported. The resonances were observed near the field maximum. Examples at field strengths up to 46 T are shown. The experimental set-up and strategies for calibrating the magnets will be discussed. The obtainable signal-to-noise and resolution shows that NMR in pulsed high field magnets is able to become a valuable research tool.
