Summary: | In this paper, we concentrated on increasing the piezoelectric properties and controlling microstructure of Bi(1/2)Na(1/2)TiO3-based ceramics using the two steps calcinations method. Fine ceramic powder based on the composition of (Bi(1/2)Na(1/2))0.99Ca(0.01)TiO3, among the bismuth-based piezoelectric ceramic systems, was synthesized by this method. (Bi(1/2)Na(1/2))0.99Ca(0.01)TiO3 ceramics show very good microstructure. Experimental results suggest that compared with the conventional one step solid-state calcination method, two steps calcinations method can improve piezoelectric properties. |
