Description
Summary:We have carried out impulsive stimulated thermal scattering (ISTS) on supercooled liquids to investigate q-dependence of relaxation dynamics in the liquid-glass transition. It is found that relaxation time R of density fluctuation and thermal relaxation time H become their maximum values at a temperature much higher than glass transition temperature Tg, and show strong q-dependence. These results indicate the crossover between some scales.
