Summary: | A high efficiency for the immobilization of lignin peroxidase and manganese peroxidase (both produced by Phanerochaete chryosporium) was demonstrated using Amberlite IRA-400 resin. Almost total enzymatic activity retention occurred in less than 30 minutes. Decolorization of Kraft E1 effluent was higher than 50 per cent in a reaction time of 3 h without significant colour adsorption by the resin support, although colour adsorption from other effluents was demonstrated. There are 38 references. |
