Description
Summary:Microfluidic devices show much promise for the controlled synthesis of materials on the nanoscale. In this work the first report of a synthetic method for the preparation of nanoparticles of gold stabilized by an adsorbed monolayer of a thiol (monolayer protected clusters) using a microfluidic device is described. Improvements in monodispersity are observed relative to bulk synthetic methods.
