The crystal structure of CeRhIn5 under pressure

High-pressure X-ray (synchrotron) powder diffraction experiments have shown that the quasi-two-dimensional heavy fermion antiferromagnet CeRhIn5 retains its tetragonal HoCoGa5-type structure up to 13GPa both at room (T=295K) and low (T=10K) temperature. Refined structural parameters reveal unusual b...

Description
Summary:High-pressure X-ray (synchrotron) powder diffraction experiments have shown that the quasi-two-dimensional heavy fermion antiferromagnet CeRhIn5 retains its tetragonal HoCoGa5-type structure up to 13GPa both at room (T=295K) and low (T=10K) temperature. Refined structural parameters reveal unusual behavior at pressures around 4-5GPa.
