Summary: | The hopping model of charge‐carrier transport coupled to the Monte Carlo simulations was used to predict the time evolution of the photoinduced charge‐carrier current, I (t ), through a layer of an organic semiconductor. Two electric‐field configurations inside the layer were considered: a uniform electric field and the electric field due to the injected space charge. A method to extract charge‐carrier mobility without a precise knowledge of the spatial dependence of the electric field is proposed. (© 2006 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim) |
