Description
Summary:We present a theoretical description of organic relaxor polymers within the framework of the generalized spherical random bond−random field model of relaxor ferroelectrics. The value of the hydrostatic electrostriction coefficient is estimated using the model parameters as well as the experimental values for the pressure derivative of the effective Curie temperature and the bulk modulus, and is found to be in reasonable agreement with experiments.
