Description
Summary:High quality c-oriented superconducting La1.44Nd0.4Sr0.16CuO4/LaSrAlO4 films have been successfully prepared by dc magnetron sputtering technique. With decreasing film thickness, the c-axis lattice constant as well as the superconducting transition temperature Tc increases monotonically and the resistivity upturn is gradually suppressed. The results suggest that the in-plane compressive strain can be well controlled by tuning the film thickness and thus modulate the charge stripe order and superconductivity in the system.
