Summary: | Stent migration is a rare but significant complication following endovascular procedures. Techniques for managing dislodged stents have included surgical, endovascular, and conservative approaches. This case details a patient who had a covered stent placed within the left renal vein which later migrated to the pulmonary artery causing damage to the tricuspid valve. The migrated stent was successfully removed using a percutaneous endovascular approach utilizing fluoroscopy and transesophageal echocardiogram guidance. |
