Summary: | A one-pot multicomponent approach towards a hybrid heterocyclic pyrano[2,3-c]pyrazole-pyrazolone framework involving tandem Knoevenagel condensation, sequential intermolecular 1,6-Michael addition, and 6-endo dig cyclization between diynones and pyrazolones, mediated by DBU, has been discovered. This process embodies several green and sustainable chemistry features.
