Description
Summary:Occupational health surveillance of respiratory disease, if done properly, should contribute to reducing the burden of occupational lung diseases. However, this systematic review shows that the quality and extent of evidence on the effectiveness of occupational health surveillance for respiratory disease is very limited. Therefore, it is essential to expand the evidence base in order to make informed decisions on the need for any changes to established guidance on health surveillance.
