Summary:Nanocrystalline composites in Ag3(2+'pdxTi4.,,Oii-Fa (01.0) (S1-S5: x= 0, 02,0.,0.75, 1.0) system were prepared by sol-gel method via nitrate-citrate route. The powder X-ray diffraction studies shows orthorhombic unit cell with space group P21212 in the samples. The average crystallite sizes are found to be in the range 22-84, 58-86, 67-77, 37-70 and 48-77 nm in S1-S5, respectively. Electron paramagnetic resonance lineshapes observed at 300, 77 and 8 K show the values of g matrices -2.02. The scanning electron micrographs show globular surface microstructure. The magnetic susceptibility show fairly strong paramagnetic nature of the samples and the calculated exchange integrals - 1013 Hz show fairly rapid exchange process.
