The results showed that the crystallization of the β zeolite started with the formation of separate small nuclei on the supports. During the second and third steps, the crystallites grew along two and three dimensions, homogeneously covering the alumina supports. The nitrogen permeation tests showed that after the synthesis (third step), the Al2O3 supports were totally sealed.
