Summary: | The qualitative composition of the X ray bremsstrahlung is characterized by parameters of X ray radiation attenuation during its transmission through absorbing material. One parameter is effective radiation energy determined using exposure radiation dose extinction (or exposure dose power) of a test filter. Effective energy is determined indirectly from transmission coefficient K of the test filter using a priori information about test filter extinction. Radiation propagation through a filter modifies the radiation energy spectrum and increases effective radiation energy. |
